October 6, 2009 Arkansas State will invade Malone Stadium next Tuesday for a nationally televised ESPN2 game. The game is being dubbed "ESPN2 on the Bayou" and there is certainly a buzz being generated about the game and the Warhawk's quick 2-0 start in Sun Belt Conference play."The passion is getting back," junior running back Frank Goodin said at the weekly Warhawk press conference. "In the mall yesterday, we were greeted by a bunch of people and getting high fives, it was good." Fans are jumping on the Warhawk bandwagon as they are off to their best start in school history, and next week's Tuesday night game will give fans a chance to show their support. "Come out and see a great football game," Head Coach Charlie Weatherbie said at the conclusion of the press conference. "There will be a high level of excitement, a high level of energy in the stadium, and when they leave they will be happy with the way the Warhawks play." Kick off for the game is scheduled for 7pm.
